Nomination are being sought for this years City Awards Scheme. Nominations can come from any quarter, including architects, builders, developers and members of the public. Entries can be either full-scale newbuild or renovation works but can equally be just a smaller project such as a sympathetic paint scheme or new shop front, or detailing such as landscaping, paving or wrought-iron gates. Nominations can be submitted via the Online nomination form by following the link below. The deadline is Friday 31st July 2009

UPDATE:  Sad news about the peregrine chick [T1] Potter
One of the four young peregrines has had to be put to sleep by vets after suffering a problem which made eating very difficult. T1, Potter, was found near Deansway not far from the tower looking injured and a local community support officer took her to the vets practice just across the river.
