Worcester City Historic Environment Record
What is the Historic Environment Record?
Worcester City Council maintains records of archaeological and historic sites and monuments within the city area in a database and map system known as the Historic Environment Record (HER). The HER is an essential tool within the planning system and an excellent first point of reference for anyone researching the history of the City. It includes an extensive collection of historic maps, reports and photographs. The record can be consulted by the public by appointment. See the links below for further information and contact details.
