A convenient new fortnightly collection service to help you compost your garden waste.

Home composting is a great way to deal with your garden waste, but when the growing season gets going, sometimes you need a little extra help. That's where our service comes in.

You can put all of your compostable garden waste in a special 240 litre brown wheelie bin. It takes lawn cuttings, hedge clippings, leaves, dead flowers, old plants and as many weeds as you can dig up!

Every fortnight we will collect the compostable waste from you, leaving your garden tidy and looking as lovely as you intended.

Will run 21 collections throughout the year (excluding December and January) for only £30!

* A one off charge of £10 applies upon first application.

I'm interested in the service, what do I do now?

If you have read all of the information on these pages and would like to be start having your garden waste collected, please contact our Customer Service Centre on 01905 722233. They will give you a unique 6 digit Garden Waste Reference Number; you will not be able to make a payment without this number.

How do I pay?

Please have your 6 digit Garden Waste Reference Number and payment card ready. There are two ways to pay......

Pay Online

You can use our Pay Online facility. Please read the information on this page and then follow the link to the secure payments screen.

On the payments screen, your 6 digit reference number must be entered in the reference box. Underneath in the amount box, enter £40 for one bin, £70 for two bins or £100 for 3 bins. Complete the other boxes as required.

By Telephone

Call our Customer Service Centre on 01905 722233. You will still need to provide your 6 digit Garden Waste Reference Number.

What happens next?

Once your payment has been taken we will place your address on our delivery schedule.

Because of the number of deliveries to be made we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date; we hope to deliver all bins within 28 days.

How do I renew my Garden Waste Service?

We will write to you approximately 4 weeks before your current years service is due to expire offering you the chance to renew. The letter will note your Garden Waste Anniversary Date (this date will be 12 months since your first collection). Should you wish to renew, payment should be made by this date.

The letter will also detail the 6 digit Garden Waste Reference Number you will need to make a payment. The cost of renewing the service is £30 for one bin (two bins = £60, three bins = £90). Payment can then be made using the methods noted above and your Garden Waste Collection Service will continue uninterrupted.

If you fail to pay by your Garden Waste Anniversary Date the service will be suspended on this date. If you further fail to pay within the following four weeks after your anniversary date then the service will be cancelled and the bin removed. To reinstate the the service again, you will be required to pay the annual subscription and the registration fee (currently £10).

If you wish to cancel the service please contact the Worcestershire Hub. We will then contact you to arrange collection of the bin.
