2014 Holiday Activities
Throughout 2014 the Sport, Art & Play Development Team will have a range of holiday activities for all to take part in. Over the course of 2013, over 3000 children, young people and parents engaged in one or more of our holiday schemes.
During the Easter half term the Sport, Art & Play Development team will be providing 2 weeks long of completely FREE Multi-Sports and Play activities for 2-18’s across Worcester. The team will be visiting 14 community venues offering a range of activities included rounders, kwik-cricket, parachute games, tennis, football and much more. A range of venues will have indoor and outdoor facilities allowing all to enjoy the activities even if it’s raining. Those with indoor cover are identified below in the venue breakdown section.
Sessions take place from the 14 April 2014 to Friday 25 April 2014. A full time table of the activities taking place including the venues can be found on the leaflet below:
No booking required - all you will need to do is turn up and take part!
Our team of trained, qualified & CRB’d staff and volunteers are there to facilitate fun and create interactive sessions. Due to the numbers attending and open location of sessions, they cannot be responsible for any child taking part. All children aged 8 or below need to be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian at all times. All children under the age of 16 participating must provide contact details of a parent or responsible adult.
Although sessions are free, all children under 16 years of age will require full consent from a parent/ responsible adult on the day before taking part; ensuring that parents/ responsible adults know their child’s participation at any point during the programme.
