Free SK8 and Play banishes holiday boredom!

Show off your skateboard prowess – or have a go for the first time – at the fabulous, free SK8 and Play sessions being held across Worcester over the summer.

The Worcester Play Council has been awarded a £10,000 grant from the Awards For All Big Lottery fund to develop free mobile skate and play sessions for 5 to 16 year olds in Worcester.

Youth, play and skate workers will man a truck filled with play equipment at each session, which tows a trailer filled with skate ramps, skateboards, BMX helmets and pads.

Make sure you don’t miss the following Sk8 and Play summer sessions across the City:

Saturday 10th July: City Youth House (tarmacked area at the back)

Saturday 17th July: Pitchcroft Racecourse (tarmacked area)

Saturday 24th July: University of Worcester

Wednesday 28th July: City Youth House (tarmacked area at the back)

Saturday 31st July: Ronkswood Community Centre

Monday 2nd August: Pitchcroft Racecourse (tarmacked area)

All sessions are free and will be running from 11am-3pm. Booking for these sessions is not required.
