Living in Lower Wick? Get fit for free!

If you live in Lower Wick, there are some fabulous free opportunities to improve your health and help you get in to shape over the summer!

Thanks to the Community Leadership for Health Fund, Worcester City Council is able to offer some free sports and health sessions to Lower Wick residents in designated areas over the summer (28th July to 3rd September):

- 40 free gym memberships at St. Johns, available for one month:  (You must be over the age of 14)

- 45 free swim places (4 sessions each) for adults (between the ages of 17 and 59) in the Lowerwick Swimming Pool.

- 40 free sessions at the Lower Wick Golf Club – adults can go on the driving range for free, with 25 balls each and club hire included.

- 40 free adult Pitch & Put sessions, + 15 places for children under the age of 12.

In addition, free multi-skills sports and play activities for young people aged from 5 to 16 will take place on the Lower Wick Green every Wednesday, from 3.00pm to 4.30pm.   

Free health activities for adults and young people - including Zumba fitness classes – will run every Wednesday on the Lower Wick Green from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.
