Try Fairtrade clothing for size at Guildhall coffee morning
Take a break and enjoy a cuppa with Mayor of Worcester Cllr Andy Roberts, at the City Council’s coffee morning to celebrate Fair Trade Fortnight. The Guildhall event takes place on Thursday, 4th March 2010 from 10.00am until 12.00 midday.
A range of local clothing and food retailers will be present at the event, which will raise funds for the Mayor's charities: St. Richard’s Hospice and the Worcester Leg Club.
Councillor David Tibbutt, Cabinet Member for Urban Renaissance, said: "Everyone is welcome at the Fairtrade Coffee Morning; by attending you will not only be helping to raise money for charity, but you will also be helping disadvantaged producers in the developing world to get a better deal. We would like to thank local retailers for all their tremendous support."
No advance booking is required for the event; just turn up!
