Advance Leisure sports centres achieve excellent feedback

Worcester’s St Johns Sports Centre and Nunnery Wood Sports Complex are celebrating this week after receiving excellent feedback from Quest, the UK Quality Scheme for Sports and Leisure.

Mystery visitors from Quest attended both sports centres earlier this year. This was a follow up to last years three day assessment, which classed the two centres as being among the top 10% in the UK.

St Johns Sports CentreOnce again the sites were praised by the mystery visitors. The Quest mystery visitor described St Johns Sports Centre as having "standards that are expected in a private health club". He said, "Once again I was impressed with the design and layout of this centre and with the standard of cleanliness and housekeeping, which are excellent".

The mystery visitors at Nunnery Wood Sports Complex praised the centre for its improvement in cleanliness and presentation, excellent customer care and constant high performance. "I would definitely recommend it to friends," he said.

Councillor Francis Lankester, Portfolio Holder for Safer and Stronger Communities said : "We are delighted with the feedback from Quest; The comments reflect the hard work and commitment that staff, at both centres, achieve every day."

The next stage is a one and a half day maintenance assessment in June followed by a further full three-day assessment in early 2011.
