Temporary Tennis Coach (7.5 hours per week)

TEMPORARY TENNIS COACH (7.5 HOURS PER WEEK)
Salary £4,173.85 to £4,594.05 per annum

Temporary for 3 years

Worcester City Council together with Herefordshire and Worcestershire Sports Partnership and the Droitwich and Worcester City Schools Sports Partnership have been successful in attracting Government funding to employ a part-time Tennis Coach.

The Coach will work as part of the Sports Development Team across a range of Clubs, Schools and in Community settings. The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality coaching in sports specific skills.

A minimum of a national Governing Body level II or equivalent in the relevant sport is required. All applicants will have to demonstrate experience of working with young people in a variety of settings.

All applicants will need to possess:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills
• Be available after school, weekends and evenings.
• A valid driving licence.

Closing date: Monday 24 November 2008

You will be required to pass an Enhanced Disclosure Check regarding spent and unspent convictions and cautions before commencing work. If you disclose any information you will be treated fairly and will not be discriminated against.
