Current Tenders

Our current opportunities are advertised on the Worcester City Council ProContract Portal

E-tendering portal

The procurement portal enables all registered suppliers to receive email updates on new contract opportunities and express an interest without being an approved supplier.

If you have not already done so, please complete a quick registration process on ProContract to receive notifications and be able to express an interest in any opportunities.  During the initial registration you will be required to choose which category you are interested in supplying.  When an opportunity is published within that category, an email will be sent advising you that a new opportunity is available.

If you already have an existing supplier account registered with ProContract, please ensure you update the regions of interest settings (so you receive emails about new opportunities in the area specified) to include Worcestershire (UKG12) against any existing workgroups.  If you are unsure how to update these settings, please speak to the helpdesk using the contact details below.

There's no charge for registering and the ProContract registration page can be accessed through the link below:

Creative works required for The Gateway Project

Worcester City Council is inviting quotes from suitably experienced artists to work on creating artistic installations to be installed at key gateways into the city.

Worcester is a beautiful historic city, with a rich and varied history. The key aim of the City Council’s Gateway Project is to improve the visual amenity and add visual interest at key entry points on the road network into Worcester through the use of artistic installations.

City Councillors have agreed that the artistic installations as part of the Gateway Project should reflect Worcester’s diverse heritage in terms of products and trades of note across the city’s rich and varied history, rather than reflecting specific individuals of note, which have been the subjects of previous art projects in Worcester. This is an important distinction for the Gateway Project, which should be properly understood by the Appointed Artist.

Based on the project brief the Appointed Artist will be expected to create proposals to determine specific project ideas to be produced as art installations for location at six sites. The six specific installation sites are to be confirmed by the City Council through discussion and agreement with the County Highways service and other stakeholders as required.

To confirm participation in the tender for the Gateway Project please contact mark.radford@worcester.gov.uk

The deadline for expressions of interest is 4pm on Thursday 24 October 2019. Please note, no Invitation to Quote documents will be sent to interested bidders after this date.

The deadline for receipt of completed Quotes is 9am on Thursday 31 October 2019.
