IN THE OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR

For the Parish of

St Peter the Great County

 

Pursuant to Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, notice is hereby given that two vacancies have occurred in the Office of Councillor for St Peter the Great County Parish Council, due to non-acceptance of Office.

A By-Election to fill these vacancies will be called if TEN registered electors from within the Parish make a request in writing to the Proper Officer of the principal area council (Worcester City Council) to fill the vacancies by holding an election. The deadline for receipt of requests is 11.59pm, Monday 15th July 2019. Where ten requests are received, an election will be called within 60 days of the date of this notice. If ten requests are not received the Parish Council will be directed to fill the seats by co-option.

All requests for a By-Election should be made to the Returning Officer at the address below.
