The Big Christmas Swan Feed 2017

When: Tuesday 26 December, Thursday 28 December, Saturday 30 December, Monday 1 January 14:00 -14:30
Where: South Quay
Cost: Free

Our fourth Big Christmas Swan Feed!

Worcester's thank you to the swans for being here!

We'll be handing out a whole sack of floating pellets for you to give to the swans. It's our way of thanking you for supporting Worcester's lovely swans and the work of volunteers who help look after them. The Mayor of Worcester, Steve Mackay, and Mrs Mackay, will be helping us out on 30 December.

We may take for granted the sight of the beautiful swans on the river Severn in the heart of Worcester but without the help of a few dedicated volunteers from the Swan Food Project, we may not get to enjoy this wonderful sight. The project was set up to feed the swans throughout the year but it is during the winter months when natural food is even scarcer, that it is essential that the swans get extra feed.

Why not come along and feed the swans with the nutritional pellets provided free of charge by the Swan Food Project?
