The consultation on the review of the South Worcestershire Development Plan has been extended.
People can now submit comments before the new deadline of 11.59pm on 23 December 2022.
The consultation was due to end next week but has been extended because small misprints have been found in paper copies of the Plan. A formatting issue in the Spatial Development Strategy and Settlement Hierarchy section caused a misalignment of a table and an incorrect totals figure.
The misprints do not fundamentally change the content or proposals in the Plan. Most people have viewed the Plan online, which is correct, and so are not affected by the misprint.
However, the three South Worcestershire Councils have decided having corrected the misprint, it is right to give the public more time to have their say.
People can comment by filling in the online comment form available on the SWDP website at www.swdevelopmentplan.org/review.Paper copies, including the correction, are also available from Customer Contact Centres, local libraries and some parish and town council offices.
After the consultation all comments will be passed on to the Planning Inspectorate. The Plan will then go for Examination.
