Mayor of Worcester Cllr Adrian Gregson welcomed some special guests for tea in the Mayor's Parlour after this year's St George's Day service and parade.
16th Worcester Scouts and Worcester District Commissioner Lucy Barkas enjoyed a cup of tea in the Mayor's Parlour after the event on Sunday.
The St George's Day service saw the cathedral packed with around 1500 people. Afterwards, the parade, led by the Sea Scouts' drum band, marched along High Street where the Mayor took the salute at the Guildhall gates.
Mayor of Worcester Cllr Gregson said: "St George is the patron saint of Scouting and Scouts traditionally hold their annual service, reaffirmation and award of certificates on the Sunday closest to April 23, which this year was of course on Sunday. It is a special year for 16th Worcester Scouts as they are celebrating their 50th birthday, so I was delighted to invite them into the Parlour for a cup of tea."
