Events will be held in Worcester next week to raise awareness of violence against women and girls.
The Guildhall and Warndon Community Hub will host events to mark White Ribbon Day on Monday 25 November.
White Ribbon aims to prevent violence by addressing harmful attitudes, behaviours and expressions of masculinity.
A Worcester White Ribbon Inclusion Event will take place at the Guildhall on 25 November between 11am and 2pm.
A host of organisations and charities will be holding stalls at the event and will provide further information about their services.
There will also be volunteer opportunities with the food bank, free legal civil advice, refreshments and an honesty box.
Councillor Sarah Murray, Worcester City Council’s champion for personal safety and civility, said: “White Ribbon is an important initiative which aims to stop violence before it starts.
“Come along to the Guildhall where you can find services available for victims of crime.
“We would love to see people wearing the White Ribbon emblem in Worcester to show their support and allyship in challenging domestic violence against women.”
On the evening of 25 November, a White Ribbon Event will be hosted by Worcester Community Trust at Warndon Community Hub from 6pm.
The event includes guest speakers and complimentary refreshments.
There is also the opportunity to sign the White Ribbon Pledge, which is a promise to ‘never use, excuse or remain silent about men’s violence against women’.
