Worcester City Council has an ambitious strategic plan, the Worcester City Plan 2022-2027 which sets out the collective vision of political leaders in the city. We recognise the key to delivering on the plan will be how we work with residents and stakeholders across Worcester to create a successful, vibrant and sustainable City.
To support the delivery of the City Plan, grant funding is available to community groups, charities, and voluntary sector organisations to assist new community projects in Worcester.
Our Worcester Community Grants has now opened as of April 1 2022 with grants available to a maximum threshold of £5000. It is strongly recommended that grants should be applied for at least two months before the event as the grants panel meets at the beginning of the month.
Each application will be reviewed in accordance with the pdf 2023-2024 Community Grants Criteria (83 KB) . It is advised that all applicants review the criteria to ensure that this is reflected throughout your submission.
By submitting your application, you confirm that you accept these pdf 2023-2024 Terms and Conditions (99 KB) and that you agree to comply with them.
We aim to process grant applications within 6 weeks however there may be an exception to this timescale if further details and clarification questions are required.
