Residents are being encouraged to help shape the future of play facilities at Power Park in St Peter's, with improvements planned to the popular community space next year.
Worcester City Council has secured £307,000 through developer contributions to invest in the park's play areas.
A consultation is now underway to gather feedback on how the investment should be used, before detailed plans are produced.
Work is expected to begin in spring next year, with completion anticipated in time for the autumn school holiday in October 2027.
Information provided through the consultation will help inform decisions about the proposed work.
A range of improvements are being planned as well as a revamp of the existing multi-use games area (MUGA).
Initial ideas for the park include the creation of a secure and imaginative play area for toddlers, an exciting junior ninja warrior trail, and inclusive play features designed to support children with special educational needs and disabilities, including sensory play opportunities.
The plan could also feature a dedicated social space for teenagers, additional natural play areas created through landscaping, and further tree planting to provide shade and enhance the park environment.
