I love being a community leader working at the heart of Warndon.

I’m really excited to chair a board of Warndon residents who will collectively work together to provide significant investment in the area.

My own experience as a young carer has given me a first-hand insight into the impact of health inequalities not only on families, but on communities. 

These challenges remain present within Warndon, and I believe meaningful, lasting change must prioritise the needs of the community.

I’m deeply committed to ensuring that board decisions are made with a focus on wide-reaching impact, making lasting changes which will remain long beyond this scheme.

My children and their friends are part of the generation who will grow up amongst the changes, improvements and initiatives this funding will bring. 

It is crucial that we do this right, not only for our whole community today but also for the future generations to come.

The reason I took the position was because I can relate to 99% of you and want to pull the community and local business together in this exciting time ahead.

My name is Kirsty, I have been a resident in Warndon for the majority of my life, and I am very excited to help our SEND community have an accessible and enjoyable place to live.  

£20 million in Pride in Place funding for Warndon West is a huge opportunity — and I’m proud to play a part as a board member.

Our priority is simple: to make sure this investment is shaped by local people, responds to what residents actually want and delivers the lasting improvements they need.

It’s been my honour to represent Warndon and Elbury Park as a District Councillor since 2022, and this community has a very special place in my heart.

I lived in Warndon growing up, moved and then came back when I had my own children.

A lot has changed within that time so being on the board of Pride in Place gives me the chance to help make our community a better place, hopefully remaking memories with my children as I did at their age.

As both a Pride in Place Board Member and a resident of Warndon, I am passionate about ensuring our community receives the facilities, opportunities, and investment it needs and deserves.

My particular interests are inclusion & accessibility, and I am committed to helping create a community where those with a disability and additional needs can fully participate.
