Get preparing your Worcester Show entry

Whether your passion is painting, baking, growing or taking pictures – Worcester Show is your stage to shine on.
The city’s community celebration returns on Sunday 10 August at Pitchcroft, bringing together residents from across Worcester for a day of culture, live music and performances.
The Competition Marquee will once again be a hive of activity as people of all ages and backgrounds display their skills across a wide range of categories.
From floral arrangements and vegetable growing to photography, cakes and handicrafts – there is something for everybody.
This year’s theme, “I Grew Up in the 90s”, promises a fun and nostalgic twist on the traditional categories and also some new competitions to discover.
Children are especially encouraged to get involved, with dedicated categories designed to inspire new skills in making, baking, and growing.
Entries must be registered online by 10am on Monday 4 August at www.worcestershow.org.uk/exhibitors.
Judging takes place on Saturday 9 August. Worcester Show trophies will be awarded to the top entries during the next day’s public events.
Councillor Katie Collier, Vice Chair of Worcester City Council’s Communities Committee, said: “The Worcester Show is a wonderful celebration of the city’s rich and diverse community.
“There truly is something for everyone, regardless of age and experience.
“Whether you’ve been crafting for years or are just discovering a new hobby through online tutorials, we encourage everyone to take part and share what they love.
“I would particularly like to encourage children and young people to participate - there are some brilliant categories specifically for them.
“Bringing colour and decoration to the Show is all part of it. You don’t need to be an expert, as you can watch videos online and learn new skills in growing, making or baking.
“Don’t miss your chance—register now at www.worcestershow.org.uk/exhibitors.”
The Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Dr Matt Lamb, will be presenting prizes to the winners.
He said: “The standard of entries at the Worcester Show continues to impress year after year, and I always look forward to seeing the incredible creations on display.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to test your skills and present your work to our panel of judges.”
