Worcester Community Grants
Worcester City Council has an ambitious strategic plan, the Worcester City Plan 2025-2030 sets out the collective vision of political leaders in the city. We recognise the key to delivering on the plan will be how we work with residents and stakeholders across Worcester to create a successful, vibrant and sustainable City. The City Plan has five overlapping and interconnected themes which will shape the Worcester we want to see.
To support the delivery of the City Plan, Worcester City Council has set aside a Worcester Community grant pot to support organisations delivering services on the front line of our communities.
Funding is available to community groups, charities, and voluntary sector organisations to support new community projects in Worcester.
Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF) Community Coordination Grants
Worcester City Council is pleased to launch the Community Coordination Grant Programme, funded through the Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF) 2026/27.
The programme is designed to support Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to deliver flexible, locally tailored services that help residents build financial resilience, access advice, guidance and support and prevent financial difficulties from escalating into crisis.
Funding is available for organisations that can provide prevention activities, advice, crisis intervention and support, while leading on community coordination across the city.
Priority will be given to projects that strengthen local partnerships, improve referral pathways, increase awareness of available services and contribute to a more connected local support network. Successful projects will demonstrate strong collaboration with other organisations and proactive engagement with vulnerable residents.
Funding Priorities
Grant funding can be used to deliver activities and support that focus on:
- Preventative support and early intervention including advice, guidance and signposting services
- Financial crisis intervention and practical support
- Community coordination, partnership working and development of referral pathway.
- Activities that improve wellbeing and resilience
- Increasing awareness of available support services
Expected Outcomes
Funded organisations will contribute towards the following outcomes:
- Increased engagement with advice, support and resilience services
- Improved financial resilience and wellbeing
- Earlier identification of need and timely intervention
- Increased awareness of support available within local communities
- Stronger partnership working and referral pathways between organisations.
- More coordinated community support for residents experiencing financial hardship.
Grant Value
A total of £40,000 has been allocated to the programme, awarded to up to four VCSE organisations.
All grant funding awarded must be spent by 31 March 2027.

Who Can Apply?
Applications are invited from registered charities, Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs) and Community Interest Companies (CICs) with experience of delivering community-based support, advice, engagement, prevention or crisis intervention activities within Worcester.

Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF) Youth Resilience Grants
Worcester City Council is pleased to launch the Youth Resilience Grant Programme, funded through the Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF) 2026/27.
The programme is designed to support Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to deliver meaningful activities for young people aged 14 and over who may be at risk of poor mental wellbeing, social isolation, disengagement or unmet support needs.
Funding is available for organisations that can provide safe, inclusive and engaging opportunities that help young people build personal resilience, improve wellbeing, access support at an early stage, and develop positive connections within their communities.
Successful projects will demonstrate strong referral pathways into advice and support services and a commitment to proactive engagement and early intervention.
Funding Priorities
Grant funding can be used to deliver activities and support that focus on:
- Promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Building resilience and confidence
- Providing safe and inclusive spaces for young people
- Early intervention and prevention activities
- Youth engagement and participation
- Advice, guidance and signposting services
- Strengthening connections to local support networks
- Improving access to specialist support services where required
- Developing life skills, confidence and positive coping strategies
Expected Outcomes
Funded organisations will contribute towards the following outcomes:
- Increased engagement with advice and support services
- Improved mental resilience and wellbeing
- Earlier identification of need and timely intervention
- Increased awareness of support available to young people
- Stronger connections between young people and their communities
- Increased confidence, participation and positive engagement
- Improved access to appropriate support services where needed
Grant Value
A total of £25,000 has been allocated to the programme, awarded to up to five VCSE organisations.
All grant funding awarded must be spent by 31 March 2027.

Publicity and Promotion
Successful applicants may be required to work with Worcester City Council on promotional activities relating to the grant funding received.
This could include press releases, case studies, promotional photographs and video content featuring staff, volunteers or beneficiaries (where appropriate).
