Street Care & Cleansing
Bins - overflowing public bins
Public Bins
The Council provides public bins positioned along the city's streets and footpaths, in parks, play areas and other open spaces.
Bins on streets and footpaths outside of the city centre are emptied on a programmed basis depending on their use.
Litter bins in the city centre are checked throughout the day.
“Any Bin will Do”
The Council promotes “Any Bin will Do” so dog waste can be deposited in any bin provided by the Council around the City.
You can report an overflowing or damaged bin. Remember to give an exact location when contacting us.
