May 2024 Elections
On Thursday 2 May 2024 the following elections were scheduled:
- Worcester City Council – 35 council seats
- West Mercia Police & Crime Commissioner
- St Peter the Great County Parish – 9 parish council seats
- Warndon Parish – 8 parish council seats
Worcester City Council election
Following the Ward boundary review conducted by the Local Government Boundary Commission England (LGBCE) there are now 16 Wards in Worcester. As part of the review, the City Council also resolved to change to whole-council elections from 2024. This means that all 35 seats were up for election on 2 May 2024.
Some Wards have had changes to their boundaries, some have new names, and some have a different number of seats. You can view a map of changes to the new wards and boundaries.

Elections for St Peter the Great County and Warndon Parishes have been moved to 2024, and every four years after.
The Order bringing this into force was made on 30 November 2023.
Electors in Warndon Parish should note that a small number of electors in Warndon Parish have been moved from the South Ward to the North Ward.
Elections will not be held in either parish council, as an insufficient number of nominations have been received in both cases.
