On either side of Trotshill Lane East, these two sites provide quite different habitats. On a summer afternoon, the sunny Trotshill Field with its black knapweed and tufted vetch contrasts with the cool dappled shade of Trotshill Copse.
Access: Field - pedestrian entrances from the Swallowfields play area and from the cycle path leading from Trotshill Lane East. Copse - pedestrian entrances on Trotshill Lane East, Barass Avenue, and from the Warndon Wood roundabout on Parsonage Way.

Other features: Trotshill Field is occasionally used as a Forest School by the local primary school.
