 Worcester City Council has been advised there will be a delay in processing card payments from our car parks. If you have used a credit or debit card to pay for your car parking stay from the 29 of August 2022 to date in any of our car parks, there will be a delay in the funds leaving your bank account. This is due to a technical error with the software. We are working closely with our provider to ensure the issue is resolved as soon as possible.

We recommend at this time that customers pay by cash or via the RingGo app until the issue with card payments is resolved.

All Worcester City Council car parks have a height restriction of 2.2 metres. Bays in all car parks apart from Croft Road cater for cars up to the standard width of 2.3 metres.

New ways to pay

New payment machines have recently been installed giving customers more options on how to pay than ever before. As well as still being able to use coins, for the first time drivers will be able to pay by card – including contactless. The new payment machines are installed at the City Council’s 13 surface-level car parks.
