From 1 September 2021, NHS workers, social care staff and NHS volunteer responders will need to pay to park if they use the City Council’s car parks or on-street parking bays, just as they did prior to the pandemic.

All Worcester City Council car parks have a height restriction of 2.2 metres. Bays in all car parks apart from Croft Road cater for cars up to the standard width of 2.3 metres.

New ways to pay

New payment machines have recently been installed giving customers more options on how to pay than ever before. As well as still being able to use coins, for the first time drivers will be able to pay by card – including contactless. The new payment machines are installed at the City Council’s 13 surface-level car parks.
