Health, social care and NHS volunteer workers can park for free in Worcester, until further notice. This is for street parking bays, all City Council car parks, and also parking on single yellow lines. You can park there for as long as you need. Please display in the windscreen the pass you have received from your NHS Trust, local authority or the Royal Voluntary Service. Read more about the scheme

Please help keep our roads free from obstruction at this challenging time. Emergency services and essential deliveries need easy access to every road in Worcester. If you have the capacity to park your vehicle off-street or to move it to an area with fewer parked cars, then please do so. This will free up on-road parking space for NHS staff and care workers too. Enforcement action will be taken if necessary- thank you for your co-operation.

Car parking locations

All Worcester City Council car parks have a height restriction of 2.2 metres. Bays in all car parks apart from Croft Road cater for cars up to the standard width of 2.3 metres.

New ways to pay

New payment machines have recently been installed giving customers more options on how to pay than ever before. As well as still being able to use coins, for the first time drivers will be able to pay by card – including contactless. The new payment machines are installed at the City Council’s 13 surface-level car parks.
