Anyone who invites and accept bookings for private hire vehicles are deemed to be a private hire operator. If you are acting as private hire operator in our area, you need to hold a licence granted by us.
We have adopted a policy and procedures on the licensing of private hire operators. These are contained in the Council's Taxi Handbook which can be downloaded here:
Applications
Applications can be submitted with the relevant fee to:
Worcester City Council Licensing, Worcestershire Regulatory Services, Wyre Forest House, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY11 7WF
or can be delivered to an officer during a licensing surgery - see more details on our licensing surgeries page.
