Worcester City Council is establishing a multi-disciplinary Design Review Service for Worcester, to help improve design quality in new development, regeneration and refurbishment. The new service will help to raise the quality of design across the city, particularly in important public domain projects.
The City Council invited Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced practitioners or those who have retired but are still keeping up to date with built environment best practice, to join fellow volunteers on the Design Review Panel.
The selection of the Design Review Panel members has been carried out in consultation with the City Council’s Heritage Champion, the Chair and Vice Chair of the Place and Economic Development Committee, and the Chair and Vice Chair of the Planning Committee, assisted by the Head of Planning and Economic Development.
It is expected that this service will be available from the beginning of October 2026
